From "Las Americas" airport, following the avenue that says "Al Aeropuerto, boca chica, playas del este", just above the "PARQUE MIRADOR DEL ESTE", then, follow that road you will cross the Ozama river through the DUARTE bridge, Then, see after crossing the bridge it becomes "Av. 27 de Febrero", ok, check on the map you will see that after the bridge you need to follow that avenue (27 de Febrero), and then there is a cross at Av. San Martin, well there you that street until the Kennedy Avenue. That is the way out from Santo Domingo to Sosua, ... if you get lost what you need to do is take the JFK Avenue to the west, to Santiago, if you get lost in the city there are many avenues that you can take that will take you to the JFK avenue, just ask anyone about how to take the Kennedy Avenue and the Duarte Highway to Santiago. Bottomline: Get to the JFK avenue and head west, to SANTIAGO (2nd city in the country) Ok once you're on that avenue you will follow it, it will become a freeway, that will take you after two hours to a city called Santiago. Ok, so you will be getting into Santiago find Estrella Sadhala Avenue, (RIGHT), to "To Puerto Plata-Navarrete" ...
and that is the way out of the City to Santiago. Again if you get lost in the city, ask anyone how to take the Estrella Sadhala Avenue to Puerto Plata. Ok you will get to a freeway again, look for a sign (very small) at that interface (freeway over/under pass) you will see a sign "To Puerto Plata". Then follow that road, into the city of Puerto Plata, following the signs continuing out of the city of Puerto Plata, you will bypass Playa Dorado resort area, Go Kart track, Star hill development and eventually the POP (Puerto Plata airport). NOTE: the drive from entering Puerto Plata to the POP airport is about 20 minutes. Continuing pass the airport for another 5 minutes and you will enter the first community in Sosua, called Los Charamicos. Bypass the Los Charamicos community continuing onward to the Sosua community of El Batey. Once in the El Batey community of Sosua, you will bypass the big supermarket (The Playero) on your right, the police station also on your right, just pass the gas station and small Metro Bus Station on your left... turn left at the light onto a street called Dr. Rosen, continue on Dr. Rosen, bypassing a street by the name of Pedro Clisante. Once you get to Alejo Martinez street take a left, you will bypass Claro offices on your left, stay to your right and look for the Banco Popular (Popular Bank) and next to the bank (on the left hand side facing the bank) is a very small unnamed cul-de-sac, Turn right entering the cul-de-sac and take it behind the bank, down the hill to the 7th and last property, which is Perla de Sosua.
